Senior Resource Alliance of Fairfield County Expands Services

Fairfield County, CT (PRWEB) June 23, 2006 -- Only a month after its inception, the Senior Resource Alliance of Fairfield County announced today that Linnea J. Levine, a Certified Elder Law Attorney in Stamford, will join the six founding members of the alliance. Jim Hirshfield, spokesman for the alliance said: "Attorney Levine brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our organization and clients. The most recent changes in the Medicaid legislation, as a result of the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005, show how important it is to have access to an expert who can provide innovative solutions to new situations and circumstances."

Even under the broadest provisions of the Federal statute (except for emergency services for certain persons), the Medicaid program does not provide health care services, even for very poor persons, unless they are in one of the designated eligibility groups.
